Q: How much does it cost to hire a room?
A: The cost of hiring a room depends on factors such as the location, size of the room, time required, and available facilities. Each host sets the price, which is clearly indicated on each listing.
Q: How do I pay for my room booking?
A: All bookings require upfront payment. You can make the payment online through our platform when booking the room. We use ‘Stripe’ to process payments and accept Visa and Mastercard.
Q: Can I book a room for the same day?
A: Yes, you can book with as little as 15 mins notice.
Q: Do you have rooms available in other locations?
A: Not at this stage but we are rapidly expanding our listings and if you require one in a different location, email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to find a supplier in this area for the future. If you know someone in a different location that would like to list their underutilised space then have them drop us a line to [email protected].
Q: What do I get with my Room Hire?
A: The facilities for each room do differ, they are listed on the booking page so that you can clearly see what is available ie Whiteboard or Projector. If you have other requirements please don’t hesitate to ask as we may be able to accommodate your needs or point you in the right direction.
Q: What if I have to cancel or change my booking?
A: Simply click through the booking link in the confirmation email to cancel or change the booking.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: If you need to cancel your booking, you will receive a refund if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice. However, please note that some hosts may have their own cancellation policies, so it’s important to check the specific terms and conditions of each listing.
Q: Do I get a refund if I cancel my booking?
A: As long as 2 hours notice is given, we will refund your booking fee.
Q: Can I book after hours?
A: Our booking is online 24/7 but the hours of availability for each venue is listed in the booking details.
Q: Do I get car parks?
A: The number of car parks for each venue is listed in the booking details.
Q: Can I hire out rooms in my premises?
A: As long as your lease allows for it, yes. Simply email us at [email protected] to get details on listing your property.
Q: What period of time can I book for?
A: Each venue is different but usually it’s 1 Hour, 3 Hours or a Full Day.
Q: Can I set up a recurring booking?
A: Not at this stage, you will need to book each room in advance through our system. We are looking at technology to facilitate this in the future.
Q: Can I hire out my own room?
A: Yes, you can list your room for hire on our platform. You set the price based on factors such as the room size, location, and setup. We will handle the bookings and pay you 80% of the listed price.
Q: How do I get paid for renting out my room?
A: We will issue you a Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) each month for the bookings made for your room. Payment will be made within 7 days of the end of the month. In some cases, payment may be delayed due to public holidays.
Q: Is there a listing fee for renting out my room?
A: There is an upfront listing fee of $50, but this fee is currently waived until August 31, 2023. So, you can list your room for free during this promotional period.
Q: Can I book my own room or allow others to rent it for free?
A: Yes, if you prefer to book your own room or offer it for free to specific individuals, we can provide you with a promo code. This promo code ensures that there are no double bookings and allows you to manage the room’s availability according to your preferences.
